Pretec introduces the largest capacity RS-MMC/MMCmobile memory card and 1.5 GB versions for some of its memory cards

Pretec has released a 2 GB RS-MMC/MMCmobile, the largest storage capacity RS-MMC card in the world.

Pretec also demonstrated new versions of SD Memory Card, MMC card and CompactFlash memory cards with the odd storage capacity of 1.5 GB. Those are lower cost version, compared to the 2 GB, memory cards that are expected to be used by corporations which are using bundled software such as digital map, where more than 1 GB is needed yet less than 2 GB of storage capacity is required. Pretec’s 1.5 GB memory cards are ideal choice for such applications.

Since low cost content memory cards, bundled with particular applications, are on the rise Pretec will provide memory cards with different storage capacities and content upload services for it’s customers. A prototype of the automatic content uploading/duplication machine for the most of the memory card standards will be demonstrated at CeBIT convention. Pretec will also offer memory cards with storage capacities of 1.2 GB, 1 GB and 0.8 GB.
